WHERE WE ARE
In the heart of the island of Ischia, a stone's throw from the port, stands the Hotel Terme Oriente. We are located in a strategic point to reach in a short time, on foot, the beach of San Pietro and the nightlife of the Port.
Close to the center, but with a structure that will allow you to isolate yourself from the chaos, we offer the convenience of easy access to ferries and hydrofoils with connections to the coast.
Thanks to the optimal position of the Hotel Terme Oriente, it is possible to take relaxing walks along the road from the famous "Quercia" and, more precisely, where the hydrofoils land towards the interior of the town.
A short distance away you will find Piazza Antica Reggia and, immediately on the left, the famous Riva Droite (on the right side of the port) characterized by the tourist mooring of yachts and mega yachts and the famous restaurants of Ischia porto and bars along this famous road.
HOW TO REACH US
It is possible to reach the island of Ischia using different means of transport from all over Italy.
Below you will find all the necessary directions for those who prefer to reach us by car, train, bus or plane to Naples, and then embark by ferry or hydrofoil.
The Hotel Termale Oriente, located near the Port of Ischia, is easy to reach on foot, once disembarked.
For those who wish to arrive by car, it is advisable to keep in mind the indications that you will find below on theZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) areas.
From Roma (A1) – From Bari (A16) – From Salerno (A30)
We recommend that you reach the port of Naples Calata Porta di Massa(ferries, entrance to "Varco Pisacane").
Attention: you must not take the ring road, but follow the signs for Port Zone and, after the exit, continue towards the port, which is about 5 km from the highway.
Alternatively, you can follow the signs for the ring road and continue towards Pozzuoli, exit at via Campana (exit n.12) and continue to the Port of Pozzuoli (ferries ONLY), about 4 km away from the ring road.
From 23 June to 10 September it is possible to reach Ischia directly from Rome, and at particularly interesting costs, thanks to the intermodal bus + hydrofoil service.

To arrive in Naples by train, and then reach one of its ports, you can choose from the following stations:
- Naples Campi Flegrei: from here it is easy to reach the port of Mergellina by taxi, bus, tram or underground, about 3 km from the railway station.
- Napoli Mergellina: the station is about 200 meters from the port of Mergellina.
- Napoli Centrale or Napoli Piazza Garibaldi: both stations actually allow immediate access to P.za Garibaldi, about 4 km from the port of Naples Beverello, easily reachable by taxi, tram or bus
From Naples Capodichino airport it is possible to reach by taxi one of the two ports of Naples (port of Mergellina or port of Napoli Beverello)in 20-30 minutes.
There is also a bus line (ALIBUS of the ANM) that directly serves Naples Central Station and the port of Naples Beverello from the airport, which runs regularly every 30 minutes from 5:50 am to 11:30 pm.
For the guests who reach the island by car, we remind you that since March 2018 the regulation of the ZTL areas (limited traffic zones) has been in force.
The Hotel Termale Oriente, in order to allow access to its guests, requests permission from the municipal police by filling out the appropriate form AL1 (Hotels)..
The authorization granted is valid exclusively for the VARCO 4 Municipality of Ischia, where the Hotel Oriente is located, and is not valid for any other passage or location.
